4.1 App Features & Intended Use

Bite & Balance is designed to help users:

• Track daily calorie intake and macronutrient consumption
• Set and monitor intermittent fasting schedules and windows
• Log meals and build healthy eating habits
• Set and track personal wellness and weight goals

The App is intended for adult wellness tracking only. It is not designed for use by individuals with eating disorders, and is not a substitute for medical supervision.

4.2 User-Generated Content

You may log personal health data and customize your experience within the App. You retain ownership of your personal data. By entering data, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the App's services. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Inaccurate data may result in inaccurate recommendations.

4.3 Notifications & Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive:

• Transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets)
• In-app notifications related to your fasting timers and goals

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the App settings or by emailing hello@biteandbalance.app.

4.4 Third-Party Links & Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party resources. Access to third-party services is at your own risk.

4.5 Availability & Downtime

We strive to keep the App available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from App unavailability.

4.6 Feedback & Suggestions

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and incorporate that feedback into the App without any obligation to compensate you. This license does not override your data protection rights. If your feedback contains personal data, you retain all rights over that personal data and may request its deletion at any time through the usual data subject request process at hello@biteandbalance.app. We do not use feedback to identify you or associate it with your account without your consent.

4.7 Prohibited Content & Conduct

While using the App, you must not:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our written consent
• Misrepresent your identity or health information in a way that may harm others

We may release updates to the App from time to time. Some updates may be required to continue using the App. We recommend keeping the App updated to the latest version for the best experience and security.
