Data & Privacy Notice

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and provides additional details about specific data practices relevant to wellness and health applications.

2.1 Types of Data We Process

A. Personal Data

Identifiers such as your name, email, and device ID that directly identify you as an individual.

B. Health & Wellness Data

Data entered by you related to physical health, including:

  • Body metrics (weight, BMI estimates, body measurements)
  • Nutritional intake (calories, macros, food logs)
  • Fasting periods, schedules, and durations
  • Activity and wellness goals

C. Behavioral Data

Aggregated and anonymized data about how users interact with app features, used solely to improve the product.

2.2 Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / EEA Users)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process your data based on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6 and Article 9:

  • Contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b)) — processing your account data, profile data, and health logs is necessary to deliver the App services you have contracted for
  • Explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a)) — for processing special category health data (weight, calories, fasting data, body metrics). You provide this consent by actively entering health data into the App. You may withdraw consent at any time
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — for improving App performance, preventing fraud, and ensuring security. Our legitimate interests have been assessed against your rights and we have determined they do not override them given the limited, health-focused scope of processing. A full Legitimate Interests Assessment is available on request
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for optional features including marketing communications and AI-powered features. You may withdraw consent for these at any time
  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — where processing is required by applicable law, including data breach notification obligations

2.3 International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. We use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers where required.

2.4 Third-Party Services & AI Processing

A. AI Processing Services

The App uses large language model (LLM) AI services to power the AI Health Coach and weekly personalised letter features. When you use these features, relevant health and nutrition data (including your goals, calorie data, fasting status, and profile information) is transmitted to our AI service provider for processing. This data is used solely to generate your personalised response. It is not retained by the AI provider beyond your request and is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. You may choose not to use AI features without affecting access to core App functionality.

B. Health Platform Integrations (Planned)

Future versions of the App may integrate with third-party health platforms such as Apple Health and Google Fit. These integrations are not currently active. This notice will be updated before any such integration is enabled, and you will be asked to provide explicit consent before any data is shared with health platform providers.

C. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use third-party analytics and crash reporting services to monitor App performance and diagnose technical issues. These services receive anonymised and aggregated data only. No personal health data is shared with analytics providers.

2.5 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our mobile app does not use browser cookies. We may use mobile analytics SDKs and device identifiers for crash reporting and usage analytics. You may limit ad tracking through your device settings.

2.6 Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law, typically within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
